Just bought a MX212. Installed drivers successfully. I have tried the startup procedure. My lcd is plugged into a USB. It creates the vitual com port 3. I have selected the config file MX2*. However when LCDC tries to autodetect my screen, i get this...
No LCD/VFD units were detected... etc. After that, if i try to test it, i
just get wierd characters on screen. Please help as i am at my wits end and am regretting my purchase. Any idea's ?
Thanks,
m00

Hello...

Can you tell me what revision of PCB you have...? The number will be located under the USB cable...

Make sure that you have set the default baud rate for the LCD at 19800 on the configure screen...if this does not work, keep changing the baud rate on the configure screen until you find a baud rate that will communicate properly, without only "gibberish"...My unit will only sync properly at 1200, but then it works fine!...good luck!
