painting an LCD faceplate-i have some questions

i am getting my case painted,so in addition to painting my cdrom,and cdrw,and 1 other faceplate,i need to know if there would be a problem using vinly dye to paint my beige

umm make sure u remove the lcd first

i must say calvin 166 that was an especially useless reply.lol.seriously tho.
obviously vinyl dye would not work as the lcd is metal.is it possible to take apart the display completely,paint it then put it back together
