Matrix Orbital Corp

This is the first time i've posted here basically because i only bought my first LCD screen a few days ago.
I bought the MX212 and had only just figured out how to code some basic function (had the time and date scrolling) before it screwed up!

This is gonna be hard to explain and i hope someone can understand what i mean. The text that I have should look like this....

Time: 20:52:38
Sun 13 Apr 2003

but instead it looks like this
:52:38 Sun 13 A
pr 2003 Time: 20

I find this very frustrating as i haven't even had a chance to fully play with it yet and it's already busted. Hopefully someone here can give some insight as to what the problem could be and how i can fix it. I think what may have screwed it up was when i was using LCDC the program crashed, i think this may have been what initially corrupted it.

Anyway i hope someone can help me soon

Thanks for the tip cheese, it solved that problem but it's created a new problem, now it doesn't display anything at all

this little thing is beginning to annoy me

i think i might try a full format cause my windows is just full of junk...need to re-image it aswell so i'll try that and see how it goes, could just be when i installed the newer version over the top of the last version it may have got a little corrupted

There should be some other apps on the CD (Display-tuner etc.) do any of these work?

Can you, as Mat suggested, communicate with the display at all? i.e. contrast up/down, backlight off/on with a different software program such as display tuner?
