Hi, I upgraded my system with a new case, mobo, P4 chip, vid card, and ps.
While reassembling my system into my new case I forgot that I had to use the modified floppy drive power cable and use a regular floppy cable off the ps :wall: . So as soon as I power up the computer for the first time with everything installed, the serial cable sparks, melts, and smokes :hip: . Did my display burn out along with the cable. If it is burnt out now I can justify getting an aluminum usb display <:) hehehe sorry for the super long message.
thanks

Hello...

The chances of your unit surviving is very remote, but there is a possibility. Too many things could of been damaged beyond repair! You probably can justify buying a USB!!!

Thanks for replying, I do have a question about the aluminum displays. What kind of aluminum is used, Lian li aluminum? And if not would it be difficult for me to replace the front panel with a Lian li bay cover to match the grain of the case. Thanks again

That's exactly what they were made for. The aluminum is unpolished and brushed.
