Hi guys !
i wonder if you can give me alittle light here. this is my question:

I have a serial cable modem (isdn) and a LK204-25PC unit (wich uses a serial port too).

My MOBO is a intel 850gb, therefore, i have only one serial port available.
In order to use the same machine with tha LK204-25PC unit + the serial modem, i want to ask you if there is a way to make the LK204-25PC unit work on a parallel port ? if there is a way, how would i set the cables ?

I hope i was clear enough !. thanx in advanced !

...USB is probably best but you can connect the the parallel port if you want - just cut off the daughterboard MO controller (connected by 16 pins to the LCD's controller board) and wire a parallel port connector and power to the 16 pins as you would any normal // lcd, see http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.p ... eadid=5582

Clearly you'll invalidate your warranty, lose your GPO's and keypad interface, and you'll have cut off the controller which made up most of the cost of your display... but you can do it :)
