MP3 Changer

I'm currnetly learning linux command, and while in that phase i was considering ideas for controlling my car mp3 pc.
Well i thought of interfacing it with my kenwood cd head-unit via the cd changer cord so that it can be controlled just like a conventional cd changer...
The only drawback is that i don't have a clue about which wire does what in the 13 pin DIN cable.
Any ideas...
