Matrix Orbital Corp

I am having difficulty using i2c with the LCD0821. I am using the Basic Atom by BasicMicro.com. I have successfully used it to in conjuction with i2c with other devices. Just wondering what are some common mistakes I should look for.

I believe the contrast is set correctly, I can see a blinking cursor upon start up.

I have all for Jumpers removed and am using an I2C control value of $50.

Any Ideas what might be wrong.

make sure you look over the I2C developrs thread that's a sticky in this forum... that should anwser everything you will need to know.
