LK404-AT-VPT "frezzes" every 10 second for 2 secon

Hi all

I'm just become the lucky owner of at LK404-AT-VPT, but I have a big problem. Every aprox. 10 second the display freezes for 2-3 seconds. I have tried several LCD programs/plugins but is the same on all of them.
At the same time the LCD freezes the CPU load increases at little bit - any ideas ???

On the internet I found a bloke who had this problem when playing games (no LCD installed, it was the screen that locked). It was his NIC that was causing the problem and he solved it by disabling the NIC and decreasing the AGP Appature Size in BIOS from 256 to 64M. I have tried both this but it didn't solve the problem :-(

Another problem I have is that quite often text is written in the wrong places on the screen - Can this be a shielding problem??

I hope someone of You can help me !!!

Sincerly
Jakob

I'd say first off try the display on another computer and see the problems persist.

You were right - Thanks. After connection a keyboard to the LCD it dosn't freezes anymore. Now I just have to find a very very very tiny keyboard that fits inside my pc :-) or a keyboard simulator since I don't want to use this feature yet.

Disable keyboard check??

Does anybody know if it is possible to disable this keyboard check??

Or know where to find a guide to build a "Keyboard simulator" ?? Or where to buy a cheap one ?? The ones i've found so far cost from $60 and up and that is way to expensive for such a little thing.
