No Serial

Recently i ordered a new motherboard. Come to find out it has no serial ports. 
Would a serial to usb dongle work? I have a LK-204

ok got the new serial to usb adapter hooked up. the problem im having is the 2nd line in the screen is actually showing up as the third. any ideas?

You need to turn "Line Wrap on"
