lol graphics are only $15 more than normals...
For the tape icon I used 9 customs chars all of which were 4 chars long (so you'd need 36 custom chars to do the same on a normal lcd, and that's if you didn't mind the gaps).

suggestion, have a turn off screen if statement... that way you can just get winamp stuff when winamp is playing and so on...

New version should be here very soon (0.93 beta). Functionality wise it has lost some stuff due to a rewrite to allow it to use plugins rather tha code everything in, however in the longrun it will make it far more flexible and expandable
There are a gouple of new features though
and I'll try to get the website properly sorted out very soon with pics and examples etc...

Version 0.93beta is now available with PLUGINS!!
Current plugins include

# STI - Seti@Home
# RSS - RSS news feeds (rich site summary)
to come - Hotkey plugin/powerdvd etc.( hopefully!) and more!

My I recomend more then 2 COM Port setting... I would like to see up to 6 or so...

nice....i just started building some screens....one thing i notice..lines 2 and 3 are reversed...so what you put on line 2 is actually line 3 on the lcd and vice versa, even though it looks fine on the virtual display
