Polarsmurf,

Not sure what you are talking about. Now that You mention it, maybe the "Voice of God" was a bit much 'cause I seem to remember using aroung 470 ohms for most of my 5 volt LED powering in the past.

Can I just retract the whole thing and say "Use a meter"? Still, I couldn't too far off, and you should not actually damage a "classic" LED unless you REALLY abuse it! Blue and white are another matter. They don't even tolerate reverse bias.

i ment by, in the 20x4 -25pc , it has white led's, i was wondering what the width of them is because they fit into a grooved molding. thanks

If you see this post - http://www.lcdforums.com/forums/viewtop ... &forum=1&1 I replaced my flat white led with a round 5mm led. It fits very well (nice and tight) :smile:
