It's been over a week. Can you start bugging those clowns again for the x64 driver.

I would like to put my vote in for x64 drivers as well. I am stalling my purchase of an mx610 as I am not sure of the time line.

Thanks,
Bob

Just to drop a official word in, we would love to see x64bit drivers as well, but since they are supplied to us by the manufacturer of the USB chip we use our hands are tied. We are in contact with the manufacture letting them know we are having a huge demand for the drivers, so please bear with us as we try to get them as soon as possible.

First of all thanks to everyone at MO as they have been fielding my numerous questons regarding trying to create a system via serial port that would work. Unfortunately it is a no go since the serial display does nto include fan control. Drag is I have the money right now.....

Second, please keep in mind that, probably, the folks who are interested in this are proabably pretty hard core. In other words, you could selectively dump out beta/alpha drivers short term as the hard cores could care less about a pretty install, OK buttons etc....just the guts. It is probably a safe statement that anyone runnign XP64 with one of your displays can deal with it....just a thought

Anyway, thanks again,
Bob

Hi Everyone,

FTDI has contacted me, and the engineer said the following.
Work has begun on developing a Win XP 64 bit driver.

We have invested in equipment to test this on, and hope to have a Win XP 64
bit driver ready for alpha testing by the end of this week.
Best Regards,

Any chance he'd specify if that would be the VCP or D2XX driver?

He said they will be supporting both VCP and D2xx.

remember, if it kills your cat, burns down your house and flips the magnetic poles, it's not our fault...
