Yeah I took some nice pics while I was at home... it got down to -15 degrees one night I think but apart from that it wasn't too bad cold wise.
Speaking of the sky though we had loads of sunshine un north this summer - it was never very warm but it was always nice and sunny

My camera has a photostich option - it shows you half of the last picture to let you lne the next one up,
then a clever piece of software does the joining back on the pooter

It normally works very well (the
second picture isn't that great, you can see some dark bands where the pics joined) - the only problem is that
monitor don't cope with wide pictures very well, (the second pic's native size is about 6000x1200)!
As for where - County Durham (about an hour and a half from Scotland)

It's very pretty but a little isolated
for me...
