Keys SUDDENLY not working

Post by OLLI_S »

Hello !

I have the MX2 display.
I use the same LCDC file as before, and suddenly the keys "BACK", "F1" and "F2" on the keyboard are not working.
The Keys "->", "Up", "Down" and "Enter" stil work normally.

But the keys (all the keys) did work before !
With "->" I skipped one frame (screen on the display), with "<-" I went backward one screen.

Even if I use the demo-file (that came in LCDC), where "<-" means "Back one frame" and "->" means "forward one frame" these keys do not work.

What is wrong ?

Can you try something for me...this is to see if the keypad is working correctly...

1) Connect to LCDC as you normally would in configuration.
2) Go to "Test display"
3) Send text to make sure that you are communicating to the display.
4) When you press the keys on the keypad you should get a result in the Log screen something comparable to this: Keypad input-> Dec:74 Hex:4A Chr:J
5) Each keystroke will send a different value.

Let me know how you make out... :)

Shit, where is that passage gone ?

In the topic I have written, that I exactly did this (what you described).

I get a keycode for the keys "->", "Up", "Down" and "Enter".

For "BACK", "F1" and "F2" I do NOT get any keycodes.

So this is a hardware defect.
Right ?

I bought the display 3 or 4 weeks ago.
