I have the LK204-25-PC, and am coming across some problems using the GPO
to control my fans. I have built a circuit to clamp the appropriate GPOs
(as recommended in the manual), but when I turn on the GPO the fan starts
to run, but then stops. I used a 100 microfarad capacitor (as recommended
in the manual) and a 1n4001 diode, I'm trying to power 80mm Papst fans
(12V, 0.6 W) which work when directly hooked to the GPO, but not when
clamped.
can you offer any suggestions?
kind regards
Gautam Bhatnagar
P.S. tried to send this to matrix orbtal support but got a delivery failure from hotmail?

you can delete this thread
and brand me retarded, I just realised that I've got the pinouts on the GPO's the wrong way round
however on my board the aren't marked - and the way the manual displays them is a bit confusing

sorry, does that reply have anything to do with me?
I was using the LCD Test application downloaded from the MO site to test the GPOs
