New Software Support

Post by Dan_Dude »

Hey, to those of you who don't know me I'm Dan, usualy hang around Pheaton or Hard Forums.

Anyway I publish a freeware program called VFD Thinger, and I just added full support for the entire line of Matrix Orbital VFD's to the latest version, and while it is untested, I see no reason why any of the MO 2x20/4x20 LCD's wouldn't work as well.

Check it out at www.vfdworld.com

Dan, for some reason the MBM monitor stuff don't work on mine, with latest rev of MBM. Just says CPU: C Core: + etc. no numbers :( and you might want to turn on "LineWrap" on the MO stuff otherwise it skips a line e.g. 1,3,2,4.

Oh, sorry MBM isn't configured by default, since everyone has slightly different names assigned to their sensors.

If you go into the MBM config, by clicking the config button next to MBM, you'll be able to customise the strings as you want them, and insert the desired variables from MBM.

Also, because the software was written for 2 line displays, I had to fudge alittle for the 4 line models, line 1 items 3 and 4 will go on line 2, and line 2 items 3 and 4 will go on line 4.
