display problems

i have a lk202-24 usb display in blue ,it was working great with lcdc in my old machine but in my new one its playing around i have loaded the new v10 drivers .and the display is not working well i have no control over the brightness etc and it does not make any sense when i send info from lcdc.
when it was in the old machine if i pulled out the usb it would reset itself but in this one it wont ,it lights back up and displays some very faint garbabage :-? is there a way to reset it can anyone help ive tried what seems everything

Hello...

Can you try a manual override......

1. Unplug your USB connection from the computer.
2. Put a jumper on pins 6 and 7 of your keypad interface.
3. Plug-in your USB connection to your computer.
4. Remove the jumper from pins 6 and 7.
5. Using software, check if you can change your contrast (up/down) brightness (up/down).

If this works, then your baud rate got changed along the way.....somehow.......

This person's problem sounds similiar to mine. I did the manual overide as described here. It works until I unplug my display, I have to repeat the process everytime.
