hi again,
is there any jumper settings i can change so when i restart the PC the blinking cursor doesn't come back?? i keep having to turn it off with the software.

henry,
can you help us out on the jumper setting? i just want to turn the blinking off when the VFD is turned off and on.

There's no way of doing that.
You can auto turn off the cursor on starting LCDC though, see LCDC's manual.
