ive just purchased the nk204 bit tech offer and didnt realise cables (male-female serial cables werent supplied, and i also need a power cable)

ive emailed both support@ and info@ and am awaiting a reply.

i thought i better post here incase henry doesnt get my mail intime to add the cables to my order (if at all possible?)

if not will the nk204 take a normal floppy cable (i think theyre 12v?)

if so then the cables will not be that much of a problem, as i can goto maplins on monday and purchase both a m2f serial and 12v floppy power cable.

please help me

A normal floppy cable won't do... but you can modify one so that it will do very easily - you just need to swap thepins around a little bit, see the lcd's manual to be shown how

Cheers,

r.

The only danger with this, is that if you are daft enough (like me) you forget what you've modified and then blow something else up . My preffered method is not to glue on a small convertor cable on the back so that I can use a standard power connector, and not worry that I've got something wrong...But then again I keep chaning things around so it may not be not such a problem!
