Hello,

Can you please tell me the PCB rev of your module? It should be printed on the board.

Usually, by shorting the middle pins of the keypad connector, the module is temporarily set to baud of 19200 and I2C slave address 0x50.

Thanks,

Here's the manual for the Rev2.0 of the LK204-25:

http://www.matrixorbital.ca/manuals/LK_ ... rev_20.pdf

You can find a picture of the pins to short in there (as well as a description on how to do it).

But without the fancy pictures, here whatcha do:

1. Power off the display
2. Place a jumper between the middle two pins of the keypad connector (Row 5 and column 1)
3. Power the display on, change any settings that you would like to become the new defaults, say baud rate, and save the settings.
4. Power off the display, remove jumper and power it back on, and the new settings should have taken place.

Bingo bango done. 8)
