USB & Floppy Power?

Post by sven_sol »

Hi,

just before I do it and perhaps fry it, is it possible to attach the floppy power connector and a USB control to a LK202-24-USB?

Thanks in advance,

Sven.

He Sven,

Thank you for posting at the forum.

It is possible to attach an unmodified floppy power cable to the display along with the usb cable. The extra power coming from the floppy power is for powering up the high power gpos which are for controlling higher power devices such as fans.

For more detailed information on the LK202-24-USB, you can refer to the manual at http://www.matrixorbital.ca/manuals/LK_ ... 02-24-USB/

If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to post.

Best Regards, :D

Cheers Tom! :D

It just mentioned soldering parts in the Manual. So I was just curious if I'd fry it with the D-Type connector on there too....

Thanks again!

Sven.

Sven,

You won't need to do any soldering or desoldering. I apologize for any confusion the manual may have caused you. The manual will be updated in the near future.

Best Regards, :D
