Display no longer powers up off Floppy connector :(

Post by arr2036 »

Suddenly my mx4 has stoped powering up off the floppy connector , the high power GPO's still work , but the display has to be connected to a USB port and windows has to be loaded in order for it turn the GPO's on to there power on defaults .

Is there any way of fixing this , or will i have to RMA the display ?

To be honest i wouldn't be too fussed if i did , i've had quite a few unique problems with this display which other people don't seem to have had , so possibly i just got a bad unit....

Hi,

There is a small fuse right beside the floppy power connector. The fuse will look like a resistor with three zeros on it. Can check if you have any continuity going through the fuse?
