I am trying to control some fans connected to my mx610 using data from hmonitor. I can sucessfully make it so that change speeds on startup/shutdown events, however:
I can not seem to make it changed based on a temperature. Somethign like "If CPU temp >= X then change fan speed to Y".
I did notice that their are some more advanced options available using speedfan/MBM5, but is there any way to do this with HMonitor?
The probelm I have with MBM5 is it appears to be a dead end as there is no more development occurring. the problem I haev with Speedfan is it takes so long to start....
Thanks,
Bob

the technique you used should be ok, maybe LCDC is driving the fans for itself.. check in the "Advanced MXx features\GPO/PWM control"dialog of LCDC configure/test, if the GPO advanced control is set to "manual, set in screen builder", you could also test to use "auto, temperature based" to allow LCDC to be your automatic digital baybus
