Probably wont be a good pcb drawing.... :) The problem isn't that the schematic is very complex, the problem is to get the "switches" in the matrix, so probably the board will have several links (or have to be doublesided :(). I'm also more of a tech than engineer, so I think we're in the same boat.. :)

Finally had the time to make a board-file. As I said, it ain't pretty, but unless I have made any errors it should work. The top layer (red tracks) are wire links. The image-file wasn't very good, but it should be possible to use it. And they're seen from above. The .brd-file is an EAGLE board-file.

Power is applied to the 2-pin connector, the 15 outputs from the receiver is connected to the 16-pin connector (1 extra "button" just in case you need it), and the 8-pin connector is connected to the center of the keyboard connector (4 rows, 4 columns).

Edit: Just found out that I had used connectors with 0.15" spacing, so the files have been updated with connectors using 0.1" spacing.
