thinking about an MX232...

Post by x-todd »

hello.
i have a black lian li case and i was thining about getting the mx232.
here is my question.

what type of power connection does it need? because i have run out of normal 4 pin molex connectors in my case and i will have to get a splitter if it takes one.

i am also under the impression that to get this to work, the only other thing i need to purchase would be the internal USB cable.
am i correct?

thanks for the help

Hello,

To use the MX232 the power comes from the USB cable. The MX232 comes with a 3ft A to B USB cable. You can power the unit as well by the internal USB cable as well.

Hi,

The only power connections you need is from the USB connector. However, if you wanted to use to the high power GPOs to run your fans, you will need to connect an unmodified floppy power cable. We also sell the cables at http://www.matrixorbital.com/pages/acce ... sp?CatID=5

You can use either the internal or external USB cable , and load the drivers to get the display to work.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Best Regards, :D
