Hi,
I've plugged the floppy connector to the High Power Input, but feeding the VFD with the USB, Should I have remove the J2?
I didn't change any jumper (checked thar the HP one is in the right side), as a result, LCDC doesn't recognize MX3 and one PASPT have been broken.
In the manual I couldn't see any place where advising about changing jumper for GPO High Power Output, just only if feedind only with the floppy connector instead of the USB.
Can the VFD been damaged? What is the right way to connect fans to the VFD allowing RPM control?
Thanks,
Problem with High Power Input
Display was working fine... :(
Hi Tom,
Thanks for the answers.
3 fans was plugged into the MX3 GPOs (1 to 3) with RPM control, and the floppy connector caming from the PC power supply.
The display was working very fine, but I decided to use it to aditionally control the 3 fans. Now the PC doesn't detect the VFD.
Can some software option burn the fans or even the VFD? I set the configuration to stop the fans (0 in "minimun PWM") when the CPU temp were below 46

Can you email me at tlam@matrixorbital.ca to discuss some more suggestions for your display?
