Any way to access the lcd screen?

Got my unit from Crazypc yesterday and it works great. Loaded the software and was able to run the basic setup screens. However, when I was looking at the screen scrolling around I noticed that there was a mark that looked like a scratch on the plastic guarding the lcd. Upon looking more closely at the marking it turns out to be a string locked inside the plastic. If I move my finger over it the string moves albiet not in the direction I want it to go (down). Is there any possible way to get to that string and move it either out completly or at least out of the way? It seems to be a line from the bottom of the display to about the top of the first line. Is this just a bad assy. and I should get it warrentied out? Thanks in advance for the replies!
