Keypad not working, MX4

Post by Enzo »

Funny thing happened this AM - display started showing random characters and then hung. Re-booted system and all appears well except the keypad doesnot function. Anyone have similar problems and/or suggestions?

Thanks,
Enzo

Hello...

Can you read the version type or module number of the display? :-?

Hi Miles

The display shows:
Matrix Orbital
MX4 USB series

LCDC version is:
1.05.29

Is this what you mean?

Thanks,
Enzo

Miles, an update...
When I power up, the display shows random garbage. When I start LCDC, the display starts with the MO logo, and goes through the screens that are active. Still no keypad function, unless I go through "Virtual Screen."

I am able to advance a few screens with the on screen arrows, check E-mail, and then it, too, locks up. To get it back, I must stop the display and exit LCDC, then start it once again.

Can you email me at myero@matrixorbital.ca and I'll send you a software program that will read the firmware version and module type of the display. :D
