As above really, had a quick look but cant find any info. I know they look different but what other differences are they?

Difference between lcd and vfd
If your talking about the MX series VFDs (which are now on the website), then I think they have exactly the same features in terms of fan headers, temperature probe sockets, etc...
VFDs are also alot brighter than LCDs, thus meaning they are easier to read from across a room, and they tend to work better under extreme temperatures.
I think thats about it

Hello Skotbites, LCD is a liquid Crystal technology vs (VFD) vaccum Florecent technology. VFD units are usually more expensive due to there higher quality, 180 degree veiwing angles and much more crisp/sharp display contrast.
Many VFD's are used in outdoor applicaton due tho the capability of filtering out direct sunlight with the option of different color (filter) accessories.
I hope this helps...please feel free to contact me with any additonal questions or concerns.

What exactly is the difference between the MX310 -> MX314 ?
I assume it is the colour of the VFD filter, but it is kind of hard to see on the images... Could you specify which colour the characters on every MX31? is ?
Also, just for comparison, what is the viewing angle of the MX2 series (LCD) ?
Thanks!
J
