LK204-25 serial protocol

Post by MarioAtJazz » Sat Feb 28, 2015 8:35 pm

Another, but different question:

How behaves the display when the receive buffer is full?
The Manual says: FlowControl=none.

How can this work correct?
Is the integrated processor so fast, that it is always ready on the rs232 for receiving characters?
And with 115200 Baud ?

I am puzzled.

Thx, Mario

Hello Mario,

The LK205-25 has a 128 byte input buffer, which is difficult to fill even at 115200 baud. Should the buffer fill the display will drop characters, at which point you might consider reducing the baud rate or adding delays.
