Hi! I'm about to purchase some of these little screens and I'm wondering about the difference between these 2 models? Is it just the faceplate that's the difference? Or is there some software and other stuff? Coz I don't really need the plate as I'll be doing some modding. :)

Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

It is not only the faceplate that is the difference between the two, The MX233 includes the following:

* LK202-24-USB-R Display
* Black Aluminum PC Bay Insert (B2021-BL)
* 3ft USB Cable
* Mounting Screws
* Keycode for full version of LCDC

But when you get the LK202-24-USB-R display, you only get the display.
LCDC software can be used for both the LK202-24-USB-R and the MX233.

Best Regards,

Hi Jiangxue,

As Raquel mentioned, there are many parts to the MX package. While you can grab the display alone from our site, you may have to ask sales about a USB cable for the display. If you'd like the LCDC software that comes in the MX package, you will have to contact the folks at LCDC.cc, I believe a license is about $20.

Currently, we are making room to stock newer displays by offering discounts on the MX packages, I'll leave you to weigh the options, but I believe it may be cheaper to buy the MX and use the bracket as a template for your mods.
