Two dead LK202-25-WB-V ?

Post by daferrisda »

Hi All.

I'm new to these modules but not to electronics or programming. When you power these modules up should something come up on the screens. Currently I have tried two of these modules and I don't get anything on the screen, the back light doesn't' even light up.

I've checked the power and it's getting 5vdc to the correct pins.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The -V is an wide Voltage power ( +9 to +15Vdc ) module so you need alittle more then 5V.

Many thanks, I must have the wrong manual it states 5v, tried 12 and it's working great.

One final question. I'm used to displays displaying what ever is sent to it. So for example in Terminal I would type "hello world" and the display would display it, are these modules the same ?

thanks

Page 10 in the manual Table 1. (Power requirements) lists 9-15 V for this module. Where did you get the 5V from?

These modules work exactly as you describe.
