No GPO's on GLK 12232-25-WBL ?

There doesnt seem to be any GPOs on my GLK 12232-25-WBL, G1 and G2 are there..but no pins are soldered to them...

That's right... the pins are not soldered on.

so i have to void the warranty to use the GPO's?

Yes and no... if you solder the GPOs and destroy the LCD in the process, yes it's void, but if you solder them on and something else fails on the LCD, like the RS232 chip or mem ship, it will be covered.

what do the other pins do btw that arent soldered, rst and cont..it says on the site "do not use" but what are they actaully for?

what about SCL and SDA?.. and that other spare conenctor bloke at the top?

(ur speaking to someone who before USB was on everyboard you bought, soldered the pins onto his VX mobo and made a header to 'see what it did' :wink: )

From the LCD datasheets:
SCL-I2C clock
SDA-I2C data
The rst and cont are undocumented (just says "do not use") and I'd love to know what they are for too... Henry, what are you hiding? :wink:

rst is /reset (reset for the processor anyway)- active low.

cnt is the contrast control voltage. The actual voltage that is being fed into the LCD drive circuit.

... or that is what they were before other engineers messed with the board layout without permission...
