Screen Change

Post by q_is_back »

Right guys and gals

I've had a MX412 for about 1-2 years now, works great.

What i've just done is change my setup to a black cube case and red cathodes, so I want to change the screen to a red one, instead of a blue one.

I'm fine with having to do some DIY work if need be's

Any suggestions?

Hi q_is_back,

The only way to change the display color is to actually change the display itself. You can get a LK204-24-USB-R.

If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to post them.

Cheers for the fast response.

Yeah thats exactally what I ment, just wasn't sure which screen would fix thats all.

don't suppose the LK204-25-USB-R would fit? an extra char on the end of each line would be nice :D

whilst I'm on the subject anyway, what would be involved with the changing of screens?

just a simple unscrew and replace?

It is as easy as removing some screws with a phillips screw driver, and replacing the screen. The LK204-24-USB-R will be a perfect fit.
