Re: EGLK19264A-7T-USB-TCI-PL delivery problems

Hi Paul, The best way to handle a sales question is to submit it to sales@matrixorbital.ca. With regard to your EGLK19264A-7T-USB-TCI-PL, I can tell you that specific display colour (-TCI) for the LK204-7T is currently back ordered. Your order will be built as soon as new stock arrives. Best regards...

Re: LK204-25 i2c voltage

Hi Anton, I can confirm that your LK204-25 will operate at 5V. That unit uses an Atmel controller, which has a low range input tolerance of 0.6 x Vcc, or 3.0V on the I2C pins. During I2C transactions, devices typically only pull the lines low, they are pulled up by resistors you select to a voltage ...

Re: any tips on unsoldering the tiny jumpers

Hi Ghost, With your brand new LK202-25-V units, you'll have 3 x 0603, 0 ohm resistors to remove from the RS232 protocol block, and 2 x 0 ohm resistors or solder connections to make on the I2C block. Two soldering irons would definitely help here, but one will do the trick. The resistors will typical...

Re: any tips on unsoldering the tiny jumpers

Hi Ghost, I understand you'd like to move your protocol select jumpers from RS232 to I2C communication. Are you still working with your LK162-12, or is this another display? First, I would recommend using caution, any damage caused during modification may not be covered under warranty. That said, I ...

Re: LK162-12 acting up can i reset it? ~TX/RX labeled backwards!

Hi Ghost, The manual for the LK162-12 Rev 2.2 display is legacy, no further updates are planned for that document. Given that Rev 2.2 was replaced by Rev 3.0 over 7 years ago, I suspect that manual is no longer downloaded. However, I understand the importance of this issue. Therefore, I have drafted...

Re: Load Bitmap return message missing a byte

Hi David, I appreciate you bringing that issue to our attention. I did a quick test this morning, loading the start screen (Logo70A.bmp) into slot 1, and I did receive the correct 252 95 0 1 254 response back from the unit using the Support Tool. If you could provide your firmware version and any ad...

Re: LK204-25 strange characters

Hello Mario,

When communicating to the display, please ensure you are using 8 bits data, no parity, and 1 stop bit. You might also try using a shorter cable and ensuring your host and the display have a common ground connection.

Re: LK204-25 serial protocol

Hello Mario,

The LK205-25 has a 128 byte input buffer, which is difficult to fill even at 115200 baud. Should the buffer fill the display will drop characters, at which point you might consider reducing the baud rate or adding delays.

Re: GTT 5 and 7 Rounded rect missing corners

Hi grnbriar,

Yes, all GTT firmware is field upgradeable. You'll simply replace the upgrade.bak file on your SD card with the most recent version from http://www.matrixorbital.ca/software/GTT2.0/GTTFirmware, and cycle power.

Thanks,
Troy
