Re: VFD2041 won't communicate
Hi mickc, Are you able to read from the display? (i.e Read Module or Read Version) Try This: 1. Perform a Manual Override, do no remove jumper after you power the display on. 2. In uProject select the "Uploader" tab. 3. Select 'Other' -> 'Raw Data' 4. Using Raw data send the "Read Mod...

Re: Portrait/Landscape mode, and scaling
Hi Lenny, A portrait/landscape command is not planned in the near future. Although you could accomplish this by rotating your images before uploading them to the display. The 9-Slice feature wouldn't accomplish this. This is also a feature that is not been planned in the near future to make it possi...

Re: Trouble with Read Module Type in C#
Hi Paul, I assume you are getting something along the lines of 'System.Byte[]' being wrtten to your console. Try this: //Read module type byte[] commando = new byte[2]; commando[0] = 254; commando[1] = 55; port.Write(commando, 0, commando.Length); int length = port.BytesToRead; byte[] buf = new byte...

Re: What is IFER ?
Hi Adrian,
This is a software issue.
I've tried allowing LCDC through my firewall and this still did not fix the issue.
I will continue to look at this, time permitting.
If you come to a solution please feel free to post it here.
I will do the same if I find one myself.
Thank you
Martino

Re: What is IFER ?
Hi Adrian,
This may be a software issue. Reading the forums on LCDC's site it seems that way.
But if you could give me some info as to what plugins and how your screens are set up I could try to replicate here to see if there is in fact a solution.
Thanks
Martino

Hi fmcard,
You can also cause characters to appear on the screen by sending the ascii values to the screen.
Thank you

Re: LED Indicator Bus on MX422
Hi John, Thank you for posting here on our forums. You should not have to connect another power cable to power the LED indicator. Please check your connection and make sure it is connected properly. Also check to be sure the LEDs are not dead. When you first power the display do the LEDs flash at al...

Re: EGLK19264A-7T-USB-YG-PL (transmittive or transflective?)
Hi fmcard, With the EGLK you have a couple options as to how you would like to write text. You can set up a Text window or create a label. With a Text window all you have to do is send the character string you would like to write and it will write to the screen. However with a Label you will need to...
