That is disapointing to here that the new drivers still don't help. I will notify FTDI of this issue and see if we can find a resolution that way.

Hi MarkuzLS1,

Have a look at our manuals page and find the manual that corresponds to your display.

The manuals have all of the codes that you can write or read from the display, as well as their descriptions for what they do.

Um, okay... I idle at 88F under air. Was it worth all the extra money?
I don't know... maybe we should put it to a poll... is water cooling worth the extra money?

Hi blyonz04,

We primarily deal with serial monochrome character and graphic displays. So I guess it's not the best place to get advice for the display you have. Sorry I can't help more.

There are 5 banks that can be used to store custom characters, each bank can hold 8 characters, so if you want I walk you through the process of creating a custom character so that you can display what you are trying to display.

Hi Femme, it may be possible that you have a Japanese character set display. If this is the case, then the characters will resemble the attached character set. If this is the case, please review this character set to see if the characters that you would like to use are on it. If they are not the sim...

Hi Femme,

It is true the the older version does not support key reassignment (it is a nice feature isn't it!)

Where did you purchase the units from?

It is not normal for one unit to be sent out as one revision and the other a different revision. :o

Hi Femme, There is no manual for the uProject software. In order to use it to change the keypad codes, you must use the Raw data function (menu "Commands->add->raw data") and then add the command bytes that you would like to use. All you will need to do is enter the ascii number into the t...
