That is disapointing to here that the new drivers still don't help. I will notify FTDI of this issue and see if we can find a resolution that way.

The manuals have all of the codes that you can write or read from the display, as well as their descriptions for what they do.

Where did you purchase the units from?

It is not normal for one unit to be sent out as one revision and the other a different revision.
