Re: GLT240128 Fonts

Hi,

There is not currently a way to get a list of fonts that are loaded on the display.

I apologize for any in convenience this has caused.
Thank you

Re: Weird Problem with GX Typhoon in win 7

Hi,

Can you give any more detail to when this happens? Does this happen when you first connect the display?

Thank you

Re: Upgrade Folder

Hi Don,

If you do not have a Upgrade folder then you can create a folder titled "Upgrade".

Re: Data returned from Touch

Hi Don,

Unless you have changed the Communication Channel to Serial or USB then you will not receive anything while running the demo.

Re: GTT50A DEMO Problem

Hi Don,

On your SD Card please delete the touchcal.dat file in the system folder. Then calibrate your touch again.

Also did you update the firmware to your GTT50A?

Thank you

Re: GLT240128 Interface options

Hi,

If you are looking to communicate with you display via the serial you will need to order a serial unit. We could look into a custom serial unit without the connections though.

Re: GTT Firmware Rev 2.0 capabilities, protocol manual issue

Hi Tamas, The Reset Module command only resets the display, the same as if you were to cycle power. A good way to check if the display is ready to receive commands is to, as you said, send the Get Module command until you get a response from the display. Thank you again for posting on our forums. Ma...

Re: GTT Firmware Rev 2.0 capabilities, protocol manual issue

Hi Tamas,

When new Firmware comes out for the GTT you can find it here:
http://www.matrixorbital.ca/software/GTT2.0/

And yes it is free of charge!

What about using a 9-Slice Bar Graph? This may work for you.

Thank you

Re: GTT Firmware Rev 2.0 capabilities, protocol manual issue

Hi Tamas, To answer your questions: 1) At the moment this is not supported. 2) This can be accomplished with Labels. When you create a Label the label copies what is behind it as its background. So as long as the background you want is there than it will act as though it is transparent. 3) This coul...

Re: GTT Protocol Manual Rev 2.1 questions and issues

Hi Tamas The default font is index '0'. When you are updating the size be sure to use the "Set Font" command first to set the current font to the one you want to change the size of. For example Load Font(1) set font(1) set font size Create Label(1) update label(1) sleep set font size updat...

Re: Generating BitMaps

Hi Don, A suggestion to speed up your displat is to load all the bitmaps, fonts etc you are using during your Autoexec. That way you will not have to load anything when a script is run which slows down your application, this is what we do in our demo. You could use Photoshop to create your buttons. ...

Re: GTT Protocol Manual Rev 2.1 questions and issues

Hi Tamas, When sending the "Update a Label" command the Format parameter is sent as a simple Byte yes. The commands look correct. Are the Labels you have set updating? You have 256 buffers for each type of buffer yes. But keep in mind there is a limit 32MB of data that can be loaded into t...

Re: Proper way of changing baud rate on USB GLK?

Hi Tamas, It may be when you are sending the command to change your Baud Rate You may be sending the wrong data. To change the Baud Rate to 57600: GLK19264A-7T-1U: 0xFE 0x39 0x22 LK204-7T-10: 0xFE 0x39 0x10 If you can check the data and make sure the proper values are being sent to the display. It s...

Re: Proper way of changing baud rate on USB GLK?

Hi Tamas,

If you change the baud rate to the display and the baud rate of the comport you are using then you should be able to communicate properly still. As long as they are set to the same Baud rate.

what is happening when you change the baud rate on your displays?

Thank you
