Hi Bert, Thanks for the update, sorry to hear that you are still having trouble displaying text. It sounds like your display is working correctly as far as pixels go, and seems to know who it is perfectly well. What I would suggest at this point is to wipe the file system, and upload a font using MO...

Hi Bert, Thanks for the question, sorry to hear that you have been having some trouble writing to the top portion of your GLK240128-25-WB. I would first like to make sure that the display knows that it is 128 lines high, not just 64. If you could please open up uProject , ensure communication with t...

Hi Flip, Thanks for your question, sorry to hear that you have been having some trouble writing truncated text to your GLK12232 display. Unfortunately, the display is set up to display all the text that comes to it in some form or another. However, I understand manually truncating your text may be d...

Hi Ghost, I think I got to your LED question over here . As a result, your won't need any external amps; transistors are built into our display board for that purpose. We like to keep things as easy as we can so all those developers out there can use their creative genius elsewhere  . Thanks, ...

Hi Ghost, Most of our designs have incorporated a resistor for all of the GPOs, so you will not have to add additional resistors into your design. In fact our LED bus does not contain any additional resistors; and the blindingly blue LEDs on it look excellent  . Hope that helps, if you need an...

Hi Trent, The TTL signal could very well be the root of the communication problems that you have been experiencing. The resistors on those pads are 0 ohms, so you can use solder to make the connections, and in fact it is much easier  . Hope that helps, let me know how it all turns out. Thanks,...

Hi Trent, Thanks for the update, sorry to hear that you are still having some trouble communicating to your display. In addition to the attributes mentioned before, one of my colleagues has suggested that you ensure the PIC is communicating using RS232 voltage levels, rather than 0 and 5 volt TTL se...

Hi Peter, Thanks for clearing up the manual over ride and the baud commands, sorry to hear that you're still unable to communicate with your display. Unfortunately, it looks like a simple software fix is not going to get your unit running again, as it seems that this is a hardware problem. My though...

Hi Trent, Thanks for your question, sorry to hear that you are having some trouble displaying to your GLK12232-25-SM through your 18F4520 PIC. 1. The display is capable of full serial communication using the RS232 protocol, so as long as your PIC can communicate with that protocol, you will not need...
