Re: LK162-12-WB prints gibberish/adds characters

Hi Jim,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

The Technical Manual Rev 4.0 linked in Digikey mentions 80 as slave address. This means 80 decimal, ie 0x50 (not 0x80).
As we are already in contact via our ticket system, I will reply to your enquiries there.

Thank you and Best Regards,
Raquel Malinis

Hello, Thank you for posting on the forum. First off, please be reminded that soldering on your module voids your warranty. If you want to have 6 single color LEDs instead of the bi color LEDs, you can do so, as you said. The replacement LEDs should be: Vf = 1.8V to 2.2V with If = 20mA (max). There ...

Good to hear you got it sorted out.

The jumpers are so we can configure the 4 pin power/data connector (and the DB9 connector) to go to the RS232 IC. With the LK162-12 we offer 232, TTL and I2C protocols.

Hi Randy, Thank you for posting on the forum. It sounds like your LK162-12's baud rate was inadvertently changed. You will need to jump the manual override to get it back to 19200. And you are right, the only way to get it back is to re-configure it. Try sending the command 254 / 57 / 51 see page 16...

Hi Luc,

Thank you for posting on the forum.

Indeed, create text window command with index so as to be able to create and specify different text windows and write on them. We will definitely consider this in the future.

Thank you.

Hi, You are going to have to interface your input (sensors) with electronics to figure out the flow rate and interpret that to data (digital reading) to send to the display. You will need at least a microcontroller to do this (the host I referred to in my last post). Unfortunately that we do not do,...

Hi,

Try to unplug and re-plug the GX (from USB connection). See if that helps.
If not, reboot and restart the firmware upgrade, leave it for about 10 minutes, then unplug and re-plug.

Please let me know how it turns out.

Hello Ren, With your GTT480272A USB module, although the provision is on the board to change it to RS232, you do not have connectors and the other components necessary to run it in RS232 mode. You will have to buy the serial kind, which is the GTT480272A (you have a GTT480272A-USB). As you can see h...

Hi Shourya, Correct, the floppy power cable we call it. Red wire for the +5VDC, yellow for the +12VDC. For pin 4 on the connector, it does not go anywhere on the display module. So, +12VDC on the floppy power cable will not go anywhere on the board. Thank you for asking, as improper power can defini...

Hello Shourya, Here is the pin out for the Power Cable Standard Connector marked as 1 in the GLK19264-7T-1U figure you referred to in your first post: 1 +5VDC Power 2 GND 3 GND 4 No Connect Pin 1 being the pin closest to the other white connector, the Power / Data Connector. You only need to connect...
