only using 2 momentary switches for keypad @ the moment, jope thats allowed, cant see why not

keypad and gpos are working so i guess Rx and Tx are properly connected (using MOs cables)

yeah if I quit LCDC (and not even stop beforehand) and launch mogd afterwards, lcd responds to mogd .... BTW quiting LCDC as well as stopping it when LCD is frozen takes like 15 seconds
Might well be a problem with lcdc adressing my serial port ... noticed a problem w/ backlight command for instance ...

LCDC isnt actually freezing, but rather the LCD is .... When frozen, the LCD doesnt update anymore and i can then still stop LCDC (which takes a much longer time than when not frozen) and then start it again making the LCD restart displaying its configured screens ... until it eventually freezes ...

VFD works fine on both ports BTW

no but mogd cant send data continuously like lcdc does, and since it doesnt freeze straight away i cant really tell u if it would crash in mogd

Havent any of you got an idea of what i could do to sort this problem?
My LCD is virtually unusable w/ that freezing problem. Guess I'll need to try it on another computer to see if the problem is related to my mobo .... I'll let u know when i can do that, but i wouldnt mind some ...

Also for when winamp starts to play i want it to bring up the winamp plugin (interupt the other screens), this i can do... but i want to have a momentry image there for 3 secs... this i can also do... however(!) when i stop winamp it doesn't carry on and unlock from the group... it just stays on ...

code the graphic in the event and the text in the screen ... u can also try and animate the graph u made from ur event by using the commands ur allowed for every line ....

or u can draw the picture w/ an on b4 screen event and just dont draw anything w/ the screen ... thats what i used to do on my vfd, but using a caracter unknown to the display [##200] in place of every caracter displayable on the screen in the different lines .... that stopped lcdc from drawing ...

OK just being dumb right now ... though that skip line was 4 me ... obviously is for the guy asking on how to display graphs ...
Thought it was 4 me since my display suddenly started skipping a line displaying my line 4 data on line 3 ... That actually seemed to be due to my trying to upload fonts w ...
