Re: require code for designing on EVE2-70A

Hi Madhusudan.Jadhav, You can find all of our EVE2 application notes on our Matrix Orbital website, and our GitHub page. https://www.matrixorbital.com/app/app-eve-series https://github.com/MatrixOrbital You should be able to take this code and adapt it for your microcontroller. You will also find a ...

Re: EVE2-38G question about of the touch calibration

Hi TFTLCDCyg, Welcome to the forums! The EVE2-38G uses a FocalTech GT911 touch controller and in order to enable and calibrate the EVE2-38G's capacitive touch panel, you will need to upload a touch configuration file to the EVE2's FT813 chip.This is detailed further in sections 6.6.2 and 6.6.3 of FT...

Re: Power supply

Hi VFDSAW, The easiest way to protect your board from reverse voltage application is to prevent it from happening in the first place! Choosing headers and connectors that are only compatible one way is a simple way of preventing reverse voltages from being applied to the board. You can also use a 3 ...

Re: USB to SPI Development Kit for Matrix Orbital EVE Display Modules

Hi Dominic, While we don't offer any code examples written in C#, we do have multiple examples written in C, and Arduino C. We also have a C library that you can use for your development. These examples can be found on our website and our Github page: Matrix Orbital Website: https://www.matrixorbita...

Re: gtt25_dataset_save() file format

Hi Adrian, Unfortunately, no such option is available right now, but you've made a good case for a PushMultiData command/function. We've added it to the list of things to do. Our software/firmware team will take a look at adding this functionality when they can, and I'll provide an update when we ha...

Re: gtt25_dataset_save() file format

Hi Adrian, Unfortunately no such command exists at the moment due to how IDs are assigned to GTT25 Objects. I'll talk to the firmware and software developers here to see if there is a similar solution/approach that can be taken based on the commands that are available. I'll let you know what they sa...

Re: GTT38A hard reset?

Hi Adrian, Welcome to the forums! I'm glad to hear you are working with our GTT. Unfortunately, there is no way to hardware reset the display other than applying a power cycle. We have implemented a few measures to reduce the chance of a communication loss, such as hardware flow control, and a secur...

Re: program errors GTT70

Hi Alex,

I understand that your GTT70A with RS232 in mass storage mode is not being identified in Windows 7 as a flash card.

Can you send me an image of the back of your GTT when it is connected to your computer?

Cheers,

Daniel

Hi Luis,

Could you take a picture of the back of the display, along with a picture of the keypad header itself, and send it to me?

Cheers,
Daniel

Hi Luis,

I'm glad to see you were able to resolve the issue in the end.
The bezel looks really good from what I can see!

Re: OK204-25 keep sending K letter

Hi Luis, What happens when only power is connect to display? If the display is only connected to power, and no data is being sent to the unit, are 'K' characters still appearing on screen? Also, 'K' has an ASCII DEC value of 107. Are you sending a DEC 107 to the display at any point during operation...

Re: Invalid Label Index

Hi Remco, Welcome to the forums! The GTT now has 2 different command sets: The command set that you are referring to is called the GTT20 protocol, or Legacy Toolset in the GTT Designer. The second command set, referred to as the GTT25 protocol is a more advanced version of the GTT20 protocol, provid...

Re: Lost my registration key for LCDC

Hi David,

Welcome to the forums!

It's unfortunate to hear that you lost your key for LCDC. Lost key recovery is handled by the owners of LCDC. You can reach out to them using the link below.

After talking to Tom through email, we were able to determine that the spontaneously changing baud rate was due to a malfunctioning microcontroller.

Re: Any cool ideas for 3.5 drive bay?

Hi Masaladosa, There are a couple of cool programs you can run to control a display mounted in your drive bay. Are you looking to use one of our full colour TFT's, or would you be open to using a monochrome graphic display? PC applications for case mounted TFT's are still fairly rare. You find a few...
