Is there a way get a list of fonts loaded on the lcd and what ID number they are associated with?

I would like to use the serial pins on the GLT240128 to communicate to a gumstix processor. However, I want to solder the pins instead of using the normal connectors. Could I order the USB option (it looks like the connectors for the serial pins are still there but without the connector) and do this...
