First of all, I can confirm my display no longer locks when left idle for a long time - thank you for this fix! I tried to experiment more with the wake problem. I was able to wake the display by disabling and enabling the Generic USB Hub where the GX is attached to. But, of course, this is just a t...

Reversed back to original configuration and upgraded the driver only and LibDriverCoreClient.dll. Drivercore did not complain and minidisplay MP plugin did not complain. As I understand, applications can talk to the driver directly or through drivercore, correct? By the way, new blinking Matrix Orbi...

Thanks, Ray for the new soft. We have been waiting for this update for very long time! :-) I am currently on Windows 7, ultimate 64bit. I uninstalled drivercore software/service and the old driver. When the device manager found GX, I pointed it to your new driver, it is live now. Since I use it with...

Ray: It seems I narrowed down the condition when the service jumps high - it happens when nothing is enabled in Displays tab in GX Management Console. When I select Media Center or Clock or CPU Load, the CPU usage goes down to the minimum 00-01. I am not sure now what was my lowest CPU with nothing ...

DriverCoreSvc.exe at 50% CPU usage
From time to time my system becomes slower then usual, I check and see why: DriverCoreSvc.exe is at about 50% CPU usage. Tried to restart the service - comes back to 47-50% again.
Any ideas?

I know for many users and programmers XP still stays and will stay choice #1 operating system until something better comes up. I personally struggled with Vista for a long time trying to make it do things I like to do, but then switched to XP. Henry: do you use 32 or 64 bit XP? what remote control s...

Windows XP Professional X64 and remote control
Hi Ray: I am testing MediaPortal multimedia application. The program very flexible and very promising. And with your help the latest version 1.0.2 works with GX right out of the box! I am thinking now about switching to XP X64, but I was surprised that Microsoft didn't write X64 drivers for the Micr...

Ray: RF signal should not be a problem. You can connect a small external antenna or even a $1 RF patch cable to your capture card and record the air signal, even static signal without anything will work for testing. Same for the radio. Alternatively I could send you a few short dvr-ms files if you d...
