Hi again, I switched back from I2C to RS232 to check the firmware version, it looks like my firmaware version is 5.4 so I switched to I2C again and with the same software I had before I can read keypad but with the problem that you could find in update notice. thank you for your help anyway Mehrdad :D

To complete my test, I realized that I cant read at all it means read function for I2C is not working fine

any help? I am seeing the same problem on others, too.
is it the old firmware version ?
somehow I bought it a few days ago form digikey in Canada
