I have created a signed version of LcdStudio 806 (same version as in the aug'08 rev1 software pack) just copy the exe file over the old copy (no installation required) and see if that makes defender happy. Please report back any success or failure OK! Thanks! Will give it a go and let you know... S...

Firmware request - Disable IR red led
I've had two different typhoons now, and with both of them the red led on the front seems to flash at times. This is in a small study where no remotes etc are being used.
It's rather distracting, so any chance of an option in a future firmware to turn off that led?

Another suggestion, allow it to pivot left/right.
Most people I imagine mount the display in their case, with the case typically being to their left/right. If the Typhoon was mounted such that the display was on a metal facure, mounted into bay fitting, but with a pin/hing on the left and/or right, it would mean you could angle the display. To fit ...

Next problem(s) - LCD Studio doesn't auto start
Windows Defender complains about it, so it cannot start. How do I allow it to automatically run. Also, when I tell Windows Defender to run it (right click & allow), it displays my one and only page, but it does not run it. ie: Not of the figures/graphcs are updated. They're just static until I g...

IR lights up whenver it sees an IR signal, could be anything from direct sunlight to a rouge remote somewhere in your home that emits IR whenver it feels like it. You can turn off the IR completly but not just the LED. I'll add that to the wishlist for future firmware upgrades. It's sitting on a de...
