Henry, no.. i shorted somthing i think i smelt somthing bad like burnt plastic.. there are no pixels at all there is nothing so i dont think the LCD is fried i think maybe the backpack is broken? would it still be under the warenty if that is the case?

Ok.. here i go.. ive loved my LCD from day 1.. and finnaly i decded to put my LCD inside my box... everything was going fine.. then i realized it wasn't mounted so well.. and it just fell to the bottom of my case, along the way it shorted a few of the GPO's i think.. anyway.. the LCD will not turn ...

I know that there are a few java examples to write to the LCD has anyone implimented this code onto a web interface to possibly display site context on the LCD? or display a current song playing on a webradio, or even a java stock ticker all via web

um i used tubing a screws, i found 4 very attractive screws with a back end screw thing so it looks like a bolt in the back, and the tubing was used as a spacer. The Led is hooked up to GPO 1 and it goes on if mail is more than 0 .. hehe

hehe wired remote in clear case who project time: 1/2 hour including putting cut plastic peices together :wink: Image Image

I was curious if I could change the old yelloish green backlight to somthing blue then invert the LCD (LK204-25) so it is Blue on Black?
-more info on backlight changing would be much appriciated
