Hi Jon,
Thanks for the reply. I did take a look in conflicts/sharing and I couldn't see anything obvious. I couldn't find any obvious entry for the MO or the docking station, I guess because they are named something non-descript. Here is the output just for reference:
I/O Port 0x00000000 ...

Matrix Orbital and Sony Ericsson Docking Station
Hi,
Not sure if you can help me with this but any suggestions really appreciated. I have a MX4 series and an MX6 series display. Both are great and I rely quite heavily on them for various things. I also have a p900 phone and a p990i phone, both with docking stations.
I have found that when the ...

MX422 not saving settings
Hi,
I've just finished the circuit for connecting my quadrature encoder to the keypad input on the MO and it appears to work nicely. I do have one problem though. In order to get the input to work I have to set the debounce value to either 0 or 1. That's fine and works perfectly until the unit is ...

Hi poprhetor & Raquel,
The project I'm working on is using a small Alps encoder (No: RKJXT1E12001). The device is a tiny rotary encoder with a built in 8 direction joystick and a center button push. It really is amazing and only cost $5 (Although I had to get it shipped to the UK from Mouser in the ...

I don't know if you're still interested in this feature but I am currently developing a new teamspeak plugin for LCDC and it will have exactly this functionality. It will enable real-time entry of IP and PORT data throught the MO keypad which will allow you to join and leave servers from within a ...

Is it possible to remove a MX422 LCD from drive bay insert
I wanted to purchase one of these for a second project but don't really need the silver drive bezel, only the LCD. The LCD alone isn't currently available from resellers in the UK and I wondered if the LCD was easy to remove? Is it glued in or is it screwed in?

Emulating a keypress with electronics (Using Rotary Encoder)
Hi,
I've been trying to source information about how to use a rotary encoder with the MO keypad inputs. I have searched the forums and now know how to interpret the quadrature signal using either a PIC or hardware logic. Now I have to say I am not a hardware engineer, my background is purely ...
