Wrapping the cable with aluminum foil won't help because there is shielding already, but the shielding isn't grounded to earth ground or chassis ground. If you have it connected to chassis ground the electrical noise just goes to ground.

It looks like you may have an interference problem. Try routing the cable close to your case to ground as much noise as possible. If you test out the display with an external usb cable, you would notice the problems will disappear. You can also pierce the shielding and tack it onto your case, if ...

MO 4XX freezes randomly! Help!
I am having troubles with my LCD, it seems that it will randomly freeze sometimes after 5 mins, somtimes after 1 or 2 hours. I am using LCDC and using an internal USB port. Really need help here....thanks in advance.
