When i send the command (254 55) to read the module type. My GLK12232-25-WBL returns the hex value of 0xFF.
this is a problem with LCD tester and LCDproc, because they rely on the fact that the unit wil return a value of 0x22.
how can i fix this problem!?

unmodified floppy drive power cable
This quote is from the user manual of the GLK12232-25-WBLDo not under any circumstances use an unmodified floppy drive power cable.
I have one and i am a bit confused. I don't think the powercable has to be moded for this type.
Or am i wrong ?
